Review of the Lenny White CD Venusian Summer
Super talented Jazz artist Lenny White has released him most recent CD on the Wounded Bird Records recording label, entitled Venusian Summer.
It's a remarkable day indeed that I arouse a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a dangerous track in the bunch. I'm more than happy to publish thatâ s equitable what I must say approximately this one. There simply is NOT a poor one in the bunch. No fillers here at all.
Jazz music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that compass been assembled to play along with White on many of the tracks. Artists like Raymond Gomez and Onaje Allen Gumbs just to compellation a couple.
Listen to this Disc and I believe youâ ll find there's not still to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Lenny Gray is clearly in top form. So much so that provided you're even mildly into Jazz melody you'll enjoy this album.
While the entire notebook is really very agreeable the truly standout tunes are track 2 - Absent Go Troubles Down The Drain, track 4 - Prelude To Rainbow Delta, and track 6 - Prince Of The Sea.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Chicken-Fried Steak. Great track!
