Performed By The Who Teenage Wasteland Offers Hope for Listeners
One of the most celebrated lyrics from The Who Teenage Wasteland is sung in an emotional, almost breaking intonation by guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend during the bridge to the song â Baba Oâ Rileyâ from the â Whoâ s Nextâ album. The aboriginal song by this title was released in 1999 as a demo from the sessions that took country for the deserted â Lifehouseâ rock opera.
