Jim Brickman Gift Christmas Music CD Review
Gift is the latest Christmas CD put out by the richly talented Jim Brickman who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. Iâ m confident Jim Brickman fans, and Christmas fans alike will be pleased with this one. Gift will grab your attention right from the very first note with Joy To The World and doesn't let go until the very last note of the very last song The Gift, which by the way is another great track. One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and youâ ve got one of Jim Brickmanâ s most impressive releases ever.

Why Pirates Are Winning The War
"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it, " a famous person once said, though I forget who. Or from whom he probably stole the phrase. But it's a maxim Hollywood might do well to bear in mind as, to a karmic backdrop of Thomas Edison's hollow laughter echoing from beyond the grave, it continues to grapple with the seemingly intractable conundrum of movie piracy, and how to capitalise on the public's burgeoning demand for movie downloads. But what specific history did I have in mind at the beginning of that paragraph, you might be asking? Well, let's go back to the early 1890s and things should become clearer. Not least, that piracy in the movie industry is hardly something new.
A Feminist Perspective: From A Male
Joan Morgan captured the aspect of misogyny from hip-hop artists in a compelling way. When she explained about her semi-abusive relationship with her boyfriend of many years, I felt how she might have been feeling. I felt this way because I caught myself doing the same things that he was. Not that I just outrageously or belligerently disrespected my girlfriend, I unconsciously say things that I do not mean, but not meaning them how they are said. What I am explaining is that the words I say like, â well I guess youâ re just being a punkâ or â shut up cry babyâ when she is upset when Iâ ve done something is harsh, but I donâ t mean it how it sounds. I understand how women feel when they say that men have no emotions towards â little things, â however;

Jagged Edge Hard Rock Music CD Review
The super talented group Jagged Edge have released their most recent CD on the Columbia recording label, entitled Hard. Jagged Edge have been a super stars in the Rock genre for quite a while now and Hard is an excellent illustration as to why. Hard has a nicely varied, mix of 15 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly superb musicians. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.
Ike Quebec Heavy Soul Jazz Music CD Review
Not sure whatâ s happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the better Heavy Soul gets. Heavy Soul stated simply is one of Ike Quebecâ s best CDs to date. Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish. One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and youâ ve got one of Ike Quebecâ s most impressive releases ever. Listen to this CD and I believe youâ ll find there's not much to dis-like about it.
