Zodiac Tattoo Design
If you are having trouble narrowing down the idea for a tattoo, consider a zodiac sign. Not only do you have twelve to choose from, but also YOU only get one (for the most part)! every person is given an astrological sign, based upon his or her birthdays. Now, you have your first idea for a tattoo. Seriously, though, I have to have one of the worst creatures for a zodiac sign - the Capricorn. Oh goody, a goat and an imaginary serpent had a baby! I will start the mythology behind each creature in the tenth zodiac phase, since I"ve explained the physical creature. Its representation is meant as someone who is practical and ambitious, and craves the colors brown and blue.
Phoenix Tattoo Design
If there was one majestic bird that captivated thousands of audience members of the Harry Potter books and movies; it was that of Professor Dumbledore"s magnificent pet - the Phoenix. This bird, which is represented in many different cultures, can also be found in abundance of the backs of tattoo aficionados. Why on the back, I am not too sure, but it seems like the proper place for such an exuberant, mythical creature! The phoenix of Egyptian mythology speaks of an ancient bird that cry was so soulful and beautiful that it could captivate humans in a purely magical way. The creature is said to have lived in the desert for 500 years before it would consume itself in a blaze of fire.
Armband Tattoo Design
I have seen many armband tattoo designs in my lifetime, and I am not that old! Many times, they have been tribal, Celtic, or some significant design. Like have always said, the significance of a tattoo lies specifically with the bearer of the artwork. However, there is a bit more history that many armband presenters do not realize. Sure, it is very cool looking when you have some great, sexy biceps, but the underlying meaning have again been lost in translation. Many people who have had even the smallest education of history, are aware of the sometimes-barbaric procedures used to thwart criminals from repeating offenses. In some countries like the Middle East and Africa, such practices are still utilized.
Dragon Tattoo Gallery
I grew up around dragons. No, not the mythological ones, although I think I would have liked to. (If they were anything like Draco - the dragon from Dragonheart). No, I was one of the products of the 1980"s - the decade of Dungeons & Dragons. I have had more crazy adventures with my brothers and sister to haunt me for a lifetime! Moreover, from one D & D player to another - never let your older brother be the dungeon master - they always cheat! I never really got into the whole mysticism behind the winged creatures, but my sister became the resident expert in our home. (That is, if you do not include my fire-breathing mother when she was angry! ) My sister soon began to collect the small Dungeons & Dragons figurines - specifically dragons.
Rose Tattoo Design
Why is it that every time a woman seems to get drunk on television, she is in some foreign party town, and decides to get a tattoo on her hip, upper shoulder, upper inner thigh, fleshy bottom, or middle back. More so, why is it those nine ti9mes out of ten it is a flower - specifically a rose? As far as roses on bottoms go, the only one I have ever seen on a man happened to be in a James Bond movie (one of Pierce Brosnan"s - I cannot recall which one right off the bat! ). The way Bond identified his C.I.A. counterpart, was by making the man show him a tattoo of a rose (with a woman"s name attached to in underneath) that he had tattooed on his hip. The only other time I have really seen a rose on a man, was a skull tattoo that had rose blossoms growing out of the skulls" eye sockets!
Tattoo Gallery - Where To Find Your Tattoo!
Finding the right tattoo is obviously very important since you'll be wearing it for life. Finding that tattoo can be challenging, and exhausting if you don't look in the right places. A tattoo gallery can actually take many forms. From print, to online, to outdoors. Here are three forms of a tattoo gallery where you can find your ideal tattoo. 1. The Parlor. Naturally there is going to be a decent tattoo gallery in a tattoo parlor. Here you can go through books of various designs and photos. The walls should also be covered with various tattoo design ideas. The disadvantage is you're not in a library where you can sit down and scour through the books for hours or check them out to bring home.
Design Heart Tattoo
The heart has gone from a simple muscle in a body, to the symbol of love as far back into history an one can imagine. Who ever thought that so many meanings could come out of one simple picture? From Valentine"s Day (Hallmark and florists probably LIVE for that day! ) to the arrow-wielding cherub we lovingly call Cupid, the word "love" is no longer necessary! There is no need to spell out "love" at the end of a letter, since it is simpler t o draw a heart shape to suffice. I believe that many heart tattoos also do not last very long before they receive a cover-up tattoo. This seems certain, especially if the tattoo also shows the name of an intimate partner!
Design Eagle Tattoo
The bald eagle has been a figure of freedom in the United States since it was adopted in 1789. (Lucky for us, George Washington was President back then. (If Benjamin Franklin were more than a public official, we would have had the turkey as our symbol! ) Not only is the eagle endangered, but also a new species of rebel picked up the eagle as its figurehead - the motorcyclist. Specifically, Harley-Davidson picked up the figure of the eagle - wings outstretched, with a banner wrapped around the bird stating, "Live to Ride, Ride to Live." Once motorcyclists caught on to the love of the Harley, it was not very long before tattoos of the logo began to show up on the avid motorcycle community.
Design Italian Tattoo
There seems to be a large audience interested in tattoos written in foreign languages. From Celtic to Egyptian, and Japanese to Native American (tribal), the array or writing is almost limitless. In more recent years, the Italian language has taken a step forward into the world of tattoos. Originating in the bigger cities of New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami, and San Francisco, the idea of Italian inspired tattoos has swept the nation. From simpler tattoos such as their National flag or several word sentences, to full back or full sleeve covers, it seems that this is one trend definitely here to stay! The largest problem with breaking through the language barrier, is making sure the tattoo reads correctly.
Dragon Tattoo Picture
For whatever the reason, the tattoos of dragons, the fierce protectors of treasure, tend to be some of the more beautifully colored and inventive tattoo designs that one can get. My stepfather seemed to find great interest in the dragon lore. His tattoo of a dragon became an armband style - extending from under his armpit with little area between the head and the tail of the creature. Up close, one can decipher the elegant design, but, far away, the tattoo simply looks tribal in nature. Cinema has brought a lot more tattoo lovers into the realm of the dragon. Many of these cinema events have utilized dragons as fire-breathing protectors of treasures. The movie, Dragonheart, revo9lves around a medieval time of dragons, knightly creeds, and evil kings.
